Exploring Australia

Welcome to

Baird Bay

Baird Bay is a small tranquil settlement between Streaky Bay and Port Kenny on the western side of Eyre Peninsula.  The beach, with its pristine clear water, is great for relaxing, swimming, fishing and boating. Baird Bay is famous for its swimming with sealions and dolphins eco-experience.

The unspoilt coastline is ideal for beachcombing or birdwatching. There are over 150 bird species that inhabit or visit the area, among them are Blue Wrens, Osprey, White Breasted Sea Eagles, Black Swans and Grebes.

Baird Bay is a place to get away and experience the natural wonders of the Australian coastal bush and wildlife.
