BOWMAN PARK

Bowman Park is a beautiful natural park, the original home of the Bowman pasturalists. The park is pristine with walking trails, free BBQs and some of the original buildings from the 1800s.

The park is open everyday, all day, Except on extreme fire danger days.

People with self contained recrerational vehicles can stay for up to 2 days.

The park is picturesque with a creek and walking trails. There's a panoramic view walk, or a leisurely stroll with huge  gum trees and native flora. Maps can be downloaded from Bowman Park website.

Birdlife is prolific – many different species call the park home. There are kanagaroos and tree goannas snooze in the sun on tree branches. Possums are active at night.

Historic buildings give an insight into days when pasturalists made their living with sheep. Prior it's likely Aboriginal people have come here for animals and water.

The Heysen Trail passes nearby and there is a hut that walkers find convenient.

The Function Centre is the ideal venue for weddings, birthdays and school events.
