THE PIONEER FARMERS AND CLYDESDALE HORSE MONUMENT
The Roadhouse owners felt that a landmark was needed on the almost vacant new intersection. Various themes were discussed. Most were either inappropriate or impossible. As luck would have it, in early 1999 artist Yvonne Dorward, offered to build a concrete horse, and if we could come up with a plough, a farmer as well.
