TENNANT CREEK GOLF CLUB

Visitors are welcome

The 18 hole course is studded with small gum trees and acacias and features oil sand scrapes as greens. The par 70, 6070 metre course has a few interesting twists and turns that test your skill.

Always open, the Tennant Creek Golf Club welcomes visitors. You need to bring your own clubs. There’s an honour box and a daily rate of $10 per person per day applies

Competitions on Saturdays start at 8am.

It’s wise to take adequate drinking water with you when playing this course, especially between October and March, when the temperature rises.

The Clubhouse has a bar and you’ll find local golfers are a friendly mob. There are changerooms at the clubhouse too.

The Tennant Creek Golf Club is easy to find – just follow Peko Road 7 kms out of town, past the Visitor Centre and look for signs.
