DECKCHAIR CINEMA
Sitting on a comfortable deckchair under the stars next to the sea with good food, a bar, and sometimes two movies a night – what more could you ask!
Set by the sea on the Darwin Waterfront, this award winning open air cinema is open every night from mid April to mid November. It is run by the Darwin Film Society.
The Program is a diverse mix of Australian, popular, family, foreign and classic films. The Society presents a range of films not usually shown in Territory cinemas or on tv.
Gates open at 6.30pm so patrons can see a Darwin sunset over the harbour before the 7.30pm screening. You can enjoy a cold drink from our fully licensed kiosk and a hot meal from one of our food vendors, or bring your own picnic. No BYO alcohol.
