Exploring Australia

COOLALINGA RURAL MARKET

Coolalinga is just a stone’s throw from the small farms that grow fruit and vegetables, so you can’t get fresher than just picked! There’s plenty of tropical fruits and vegies on display and some beautiful plants – bromeliads, desert roses and more!

There’s a range of freshly prepared food – try a tasty Laksa (special recipe) or coffees, teas, cakes, Asian dishes and snacks. Tables and chairs are on hand, so you can enjoy a coffee with friends, breakfast, brunch or a quick snack.

A wander around the stalls will discover plenty of gift ideas for that special birthday coming up, or there are lots to choose to treat yourself.

Some very talented artisans create exquisite jewellery, and there are original paintings on display, wooden puzzles and toys. You will find hand and body lotions, second hand books (a few treasures here) and second hand goods (some bargains). There’s fridge magnets, colourful ornaments and more.

A favourite site is the chickens, ducklings and baby rabbits. All come with free advice on how to look after them what to feed them.

Coolalinga Rural Market is under cover and open rain or shine every Saturday 8am to 1pm
