TENNANT CREEK HOTEL

Enjoy outback hospitality at the Tennant Hotel, one of the first buildings in town

The Tennant Creek Hotel was built in the early days of Tennant Creek and was owned for a time by Jack Noble, an avid prospector and one of Tennant’s most successful miners.

He was a legendary character, as large as life and an accomplished horseman. They say he could throw back a drink or two. He kept a team of camels and if town life got a bit much he would pack up the camels, shout “hooshta” and go bush for months.

Jacksons Bar
The hotel retains much of the atmosphere of days past. With the huge open fireplace and memorabilia, Jacksons Bar is still a good place to swap a yarn.

The drinks are cold and the meals are good value.

Beer garden – enjoy  the company of friends in the refreshing green of the garden.

Fay Lewis Bar
Try your luck on the pokies, Keno or TAB.

Drive in Bottle Shop
Good range of beer, wines and spirits. (Note: open after 2pm)
