Dragonfly Fabrics is a dream shop for anyone who has ever picked up a needle and thread. It is choc full of beautiful fabrics in a myriad of designs in every colour of the rainbow.
The walls are covered with colourful quilts, wall hangings and hold-all bag creations. There are so many ideas to choose with a large variety of kits and patterns on display. Some fabrics are in patchword designs, giving you a head start, see cushion image.
Workshops are held regularly and classes give beginners skills to produce fun pieces, personalised gifts and family heirlooms to be treasured for years to come.
Judy, the proprietor has been involved with quilting and fabrics for years and there's not much she doesn’t know about turning mix and match fabrics into a work of art.
Come to our “Sit and Sew” sessions – make a new creation or bring along your latest piece you are working on and chat with like-minded folk. Apart from enjoyable company, it’s a great way to pick up tips and ideas too.
