ROAD TRANSPORT HALL OF FAME

There are vehicles dating from the early days of horse transport in Australia to modern days.

Pride of place is road pioneer Kurt Johannsen's Diamond-T "Bertha", restored to its original glory by Society members.
Colac-based Merv Brunt donated a number of trucks from his personally-restored private collection. There are also several classic B-model Macks and an ever-expanding variety of vintage trucks, cars, bicycles and motorcycles.

The B-model Mack revoluntionised the road transport industry in Australia. Many old drovers attribute the sheer strength and durability of the Mack for bringing an end to Australia's large cattle droves.

Shell Rimula Wall of Fame
Highlighting the contribution that road transport as an industry, has made to the economics of Australia through the development of our wealth producing industries and the ingenuity of our trucking pioneers. By inducting pioneers to our Shell Rimula Wall of Fame, it shows that road transport is much more than just the blokes who drive the trucks. While they deserve every pat on the back there are many others who need to be recognised too.
