Adelaide is one of the most elegant and friendly cities in Australia and is blessed with a moderate Mediterranean climate with warm summers and cool, mild winters. This climate and Adelaide's location on a wide open plain between the gum-covered hills of the Adelaide's Mount Lofty Ranges and the clear blue sparkling water of St Vincent's Gulf, make the City one of the most liveable in the world.

Adelaide is a planned city, the centre is a picturesque blend of wide boulevards, charming and bustling streets, spacious Park Lands, tree lined squares, historic buildings and numerous shops. Al fresco dining is popular and visitors and residents alike enjoy the sunshine at the hundreds of street cafés and restaurants.

Some of the world's premier wine making districts, the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale wine regions, are within one hour of the city. The Adelaide Hills is a short 20 minutes away. Various forms of transport are available.

Adelaide is the gateway to the Australian Outback, the most notable exploration expeditions into the unknown centre of the continent departed from here. Kangaroo Island and the Flinders Ranges are three hours away.

Enjoy!
