Copley is a small friendly town in the Northern Flinders Ranges just up the road from Leigh Creek on route to the Oodnadatta Track. It is also the turn off to Arkaroola and Iga Warta.
Copley has all facilities to service the travellers in the outback.
Explorer Edward John Eyre was the first European to the area in 1841.
The railway came through in 1881 and the town was named after William Copley the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
