Alice Springs' Dry Riverbed Regatta emulates the famous Henley-on-Thames Regatta. Vessels are launched in the dry bed of the Todd Riverbed. A sense of fun and the ridiculous make this a unique attraction. Bottomless boats are powered by the legs of the crew.
Camel Cup
The camel races are an outback pastime, not to be missed. Anything can happen and often does. It is the only Camel Cup run by the Lions Club for charity. Held mid July each year.
