FISHING REPORT

Tumby Bay
Whiting and squid fishing remains good out at the Group and by catches have been a few snook, tommies and the odd trevally or two.

Port Neill
Whiting in good size and numbers came from the Northern grounds. During the blow some excellent snapper were caught from the rocks. The jetty had tommies, squid, small kingfish, and yellowfin whiting off the beaches.

Some very keen anglers in Cooper Watson and Fletcher Murphy from Tumby Bay fished around Second Creek for a good feed of whiting & salmon.

Cooper in the shorts and Fletcher are holding up examples of what they landed.

A really good effort from two very young and keen anglers.

Fishing Report

TUMBY BAY
From the jetty there has been tommies and squid, squid dare also on the Tumby reef.
Out at the Group tommies and garfish are scarce but whiting, red mullet, snook and large squid are finding their way into the bags.
Down at Peake Bay there has been a school of salmon cruising around and garfish and tommies are quiet; there are however some nice whiting being taken close to shore.

PORT NEILL
Many beaches have fired up with good numbers of winter mullet on the bite.
Boat anglers say whiting catches are just ok but snapper are going well with good numbers of large fish.
On the jetty and breakwater you still have reasonable catches of tommies and squid..
