The Kaurna and Peramamgk Aboriginal people were the original inhabitants of the area. Conservation Parks and the uniquely coloured cliffs of Ochre Point are rich with Aboriginal cultural heritage and ecological significance.
The olde world charm of Colonial history and heritage are to be found in the villages of Clarendon, Kangarilla, Old Noarlunga, Port Noarlunga, Willunga and Port Willunga. Spectacular panoramic views of the entire area may be enjoyed from the top of Willunga Hill.
