Impressive white sand dunes frame the pristine beach and clear blue waters making it a favourite spot for locals and visitors.

It’s nature at its best and a large variety of fish are found here. Big schools of salmon frequent the area.

Camping is permitted

Sheringa was once a thriving community with a population of around 300 people. A few buildings can still be seen.

The early settlers made good use of the prolific limestone, skillfully constructing dry stonewalling which can still be seen.
