The Davenport Ranges are rugged and spectacular with a number of water courses. A 4WD is needed to get there. It's a relaxing and attractive place for intrepid visitors.

Spectacular rocky outcrop with rocks balanced precariously, formed by weathering over millions of years. The national park is next to the Stuart Highway,  9 kms south  of Wauchope,105 kms south of Tennant Creek and 393 kms north of Alice Springs.
There’s a self guided walk (about 15 minutes) and Bush Camping.

A large outcrop of weathered granite rocks clustered upon the hillside forms a picturesque landscape. It's interspersed with small gum trees and clumps of spinifex grass.  Bush camping.
